The Mood Cups collection by Frédérique Ficheroulle explores the relationship between the ergonomy of objects and the mood we are in.

Enjoy a strong coffee before a meeting with the “steady” cup or take the time to meditate with the “relax” cup.  Maybe pick up “audacious” and take risks. Handmade cups were created during Ficheroulle’s residency at the Studio Porcepolis in Brussels where he worked to explore the different ways porcelain can be used, worked, shaped, moulded or finished.

His process makes use of new technology and handcraft techniques. The models are printed in 3D then moulded and cast in porcelain leaving a trace of the 3D pattern on the cups. Although thin, the cups are solid and stackable.
